Sometimes we don't let our hopes get too high.    If an event seems almost too good we are always afraid it will be snatched away. 

So goes it with our upcomming vacation.  Kathy and I have not been away alone for a long time.  No dogs, no heat, just fun.  I have never seen the wonders of the Grand Canyon. 

But it's almost here.  Kathy and I have the reservations. 

We have the route. 

We have the wheels. 

We have the crew (the GoldWing Road Riders Association) 

All we need to do is leave.
